Rock Gun Site, Gibraltar

Brody Forbes procured and installed an 11.8m diameter sandwich radome for its client, Thales ATMS Ltd, at the Rock Gun site in Gibraltar.

Brody Forbes were responsible for the procurement, shipping and site installation of the radome, including carrying out the required earthing protection and lightning protection. As with all radomes, the works also included the electrical fit out.  

Restrictions on site and access routes meant that all installation works had to be carried out from a mobile tower scaffold with no access or lifting equipment available.
